No, 'IMHO' is not a transcription of a Japanese word, but an abbreviation (or more precisely, an initialism, and maybe an acronym (if you can pronounce it)) for 'In My Humble Opinion'. (See The Jargon Dictionary under the entry 'IMHO' for further information).
So this site contains my view on different subjects. Sometimes it is just my notepaper for things I would like to be able to find again. The pages are thus not meant to be the ultimate lookup place on any subject, but perhaps an introduction to a subject, with references to other resources.
